About the Scholarship Program
How to Apply The National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic (NSP), which was founded in 2005, is evidence of Slovakia’s dedication to promoting international intellectual cooperation. Eligibility Requirements

- Academic Progress: Candidates should either be master’s students or have completed at least 2.5 years of their university studies.
- Acceptance Letter: Applicants must secure acceptance from a public, private, or state higher education institution in Slovakia for academic mobility.
For PhD Candidates:
- Educational Background: PhD students pursuing studies outside Slovakia are eligible.
- Institution Acceptance: Acceptance by a Slovakian higher education or research institution for academic mobility is required.
For Teachers, Researchers, and Artists:

Duration and Benefits
- Student Scholarships: Offered for 1-2 full semesters or 1-3 trimesters with a monthly stipend of 620 EUR.
- PhD Scholarships: Available for 1-10 months with a monthly stipend of 1025.50 EUR.
- Educators, Researchers, and Artists: Monthly stipends range from 1025.50 EUR to 1470 EUR based on qualifications and experience.
Travel Grant
- Distance-Based: Travel allowances vary based on the distance between the applicant’s residence and the host institution in Slovakia.
